Any comments good or bad about this hotel?
Did a search but nothing came up.Did stay at the Oriental in SIN a few years ago. Rooms were quite nice, the lobby was way up there and the light switches were heat sensitive-- so you had to hold your fingers close to it to make it work. I don't know if they still have those as it was a few years ago. Food was quite good with the breakfst buffets being quite sumptuous.I've stayed there before but it's a bit blandish and not as special as the Oriental in BKK. The Ritz Carlton is much better in my opinion and is pretty close by.Stayed there last year having previously been there 13 years ago. Didn't notice much change. Ritz much better.Thanks for your replies , I have stayed at the Ritz too and loved it . I have done some checking and the price is double the Oriental this time around with the Conrad and Pan Pacific in the middle so will continue to think about it.
