Iberia Talks With Air Europa Extended

  • Spanish flag carrier Iberia and smaller rival Air Europa agreed Friday to extend a 45-day period they had given themselves to negotiate a possible takeover until January 25.

    An Iberia spokesman said the talks were "very much on the right track for a tie-up" and there was "a great deal of goodwill on both sides".
