Anyone Caught in Air Traffic Control Mess Friday?

    Canadian Airlines exerienced operational delays of up to three hours at Toronto's Pearson International Airport due to Air Traffic Control. The delays may have impacted service in the rest of Canada, the United States and internationally.

  • Not this Friday, but I flew YOW-YYZ on Aug 6 and AC had many delays. At the AC counter they told me CP's flights until 8pm to Toronto were cancelled. The problem was high winds in Toronto. On the plane they told me the winds were from NW and only one runway open.

    Coming back Sunday evening (Aug 8), many many delays and again the stated problem was high winds leaving only one runway open.
