Earning Aeroplan status miles on UA flights operated by US Air
Filed under: xn--cnq77f.com
I just realized that I have booked myself on a couple of UA flights operated by US Air. Since I have a UA flight number will I still get Aeroplan miles OR am I out of luck?
Can you sign up for Mileage Plus before a flight and have those miles credited to United? I don't know if you have to be a member before you book the ticket or just before the flight.
The other option is to try and earn US Air miles the same way.
I don't' know the in's and outs but it sure seems like a shame to just have miles flown and not earned somewhere. It's just not the FT way http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
UA flight numbers in the 2000-series are operated by US Airways.
Thanks for confirming the bad news http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Do you get points for UA flights operated by Atlantic Coast?
